I just don't like making celebrity layouts because this is my site and I don't idolize anyone. I'm happy keeping this personal to me. And I wanted to do something different, so I skinned the site and made it so that people can choose their layouts. (Works with cookies only). AND I have a great love for vector layouts because they take a LOT of work.

Thank you so much for all the comments/congratulations on my engagement story. I can't believe some of you actually read the ENTIRE POST. It was freakin' LONG! And to answer many of the questions/comments: Yes, it was definitely the best birthday present that I have ever received. I am extremely happy and I only hope that everyone else can find the same! I will definitely return all messages... it might take me a bit of time.

Everyone has been so supportive and genuinely happy. My friends and family have been calling me from all over the place. I've received many notes of congratulations on Facebook, Myspace, and email. I truly am blessed with some amazing people in my life. Between all the news, another grad sememster starting, and everyone I've been trying to get in touch with, I have been BUSY! Definitely spinning, in a good way. D and I took what I call the Michigan-tour in which we drove all over the state to see our families, who are all supportive!

Since people have been interested in our plans and our story, I am going to make a subdomain website strictly on wedding stuff (it will probably be a gag-me type of thing) so that friends and family (and you other curious people) can keep up to date. I've found that there are some high expectations out there for our wedding based on our past parties and our OCD-like (SICK) attention to details.

I'll also post Vietnamese-wedding traditions on it since the ceremony is pretty sacred and different from typical weddings. We are going to make it pretty traditional (kinda) with a blow-out reception. It is about two years away, no EXACT date set, but I wanted to finish my masters first before I get my head all into this wedding planning stuff. So excited.

SOOOOO excited, that I caught a cold. I have a bad cough that keeps me up all night. If you ever have one of those though, I recommend Mucinex to ease the coughing. Pretty good stuff. Time for meds.
