Haha. I just realized that S.A.D. Is the acronym for singles' awareness day. Anyway, whatever your situation, I hope you're having fun with it. Grass is always greener, so don't worry. My plans: I'm at the office right now working on a few projects but I'm on my lunch break. I came in super early so I'm leaving early today for NO reason. I have no date, I made no plans, and it's OK with me. I am going to skip my workout, chill at home and enjoy my evening doing things for ME! Plus Lexi got me a Godiva teddy bear with chocolates around his neck (not really, she got it from Auntie Tina and then gave it to me) so I will probably stuff my face with those. She did get me chocolates though Sweet and yummy Godiva.

I have no deep thoughts to force on you guys so how about a crazy weekend recap? Thursday Recap: Work was busy. Class was horrible because I knew that I was going out to the Pub that night with the roomies, so I was really antsy. The pub was ridiculous! I was soooo inebriated. Chad told me I had a one track mind, and yes, I did. It was fun though, I was full on vodka and beer by the end of the evening. Didn't meet any truckers this time lol, but I let a great looking guy in a mint green shirt disappear without giving him my horribly written number on the napkin that I put in my pocket. I was so going to, but after I wrote it down, I couldn't find him anymore! Oh well, it was not meant to be lol. I should not have gone to bed...

Friday Recap: because I was late for work in the morning. I slept through all four of the alarms I set and ended up late... with a killer headache. The worst part was that I was super busy at work so it didn't go away easily. I went shopping after work and when I came home, I got ready to go out and play! Besides getting mustard on my new white shirt, and the unfolding drama at a party, I had a hell of a time. I got to dance... meet new people and spend time with the new friends I made earlier! I was also pretty well off that night too. After drinking my weak vodka mix, I got some Captain. Straight Captain, no mixer/chaser. Shoot "the only thing a girl should chase is her shot" doesn't apply because I don't chase shots . To say the least, I was feeling real good. Almost every house party I go to, there is always one girl who loves to dance like me. This was no exception, we danced and no surprise, we made out. I didn't even remember doing it until Sunday on my drive back from Detroit. HAHA. I lost my FAVORITE tummy ring though-- the one everyone compliments me on . GRR. I was in good company though... hopefully I keep hanging out with these kids and meet MORE people! Weird thing though, at the party, I realized that there are a lot of parallels to my current situations and the situations I was involved in for the past two years. Strange that I recognize it at the party, yet not really that strange at all. I really can't say much now, we shall see what unfolds.

Saturday Recap: I went downtown after buying my sister some lilies and an iris for Vday (yes, even though she has a man). I met up with Ron at Friday's so that he and Karen could meet since he may move in with us! Woot Woot! We enjoyed a yummy lunch which he so kindly treated me and then I headed to Detroit. Lexi and I spent quality time lounging and spending money. We were always good at that. I miss her! She almost came back to GR with me but changed her mind. She'll be coming out in like 2 weeks though. Sunday Recap: I bought a new VAIO Laptop!!! WOOOOOOOO FINALLY! A NEW NOTEBOOK! I am so happy, I got $300 off on an 80GB, FS550 with centrino processor, 512MB RAM, WXGA 15.4" X-Brite LED screen, DVD+/R & CD, etc etc. Yay for tax refunds, that's all I have to say about that. So I got back to Detroit around 8:30, unpacked, did my homework and played with the laptop... About to get back my 5,000 songs! Glorious... A new laptop and Q time with sexi Lexi beats a dozen red roses anyday.
