What does she do?
I graduated last year with a Mechanical, Product Design & Manufacturing engineering degree and started working right away in the office furniture industry. I absolutely LOVE product design. It's the perfect combination of aesthetics and engineering. I've always been more design-inclined, so it's nice to get paid as an engineer working in a design-oriented field.
As of Winter 2007, I started grad school. I am currently working towards my masters in product design with the goal to finish ASAP. The word "busy" is pretty understated.
Even so, in my spare time, I love to work on this website and work on graphics, decorate my apartment, and CLEAN! Yep, I just moved out of the house I shared with my girls to live on my own, practically on top of this city.
I drive a 2001 Silver Honda Accord EX-V6. It is my baby. However, she hit 100,000 miles earlier this year and is starting to get a little fussy. I drive her all over MI and usually never at the speed limit, so I'm sure the fussiness is long overdue.
I am sucha freaking computer nerd, I love sitting here just looking at things... in my free time, I partake in any of my hobbies or just hang out, dance, party, whatever. I like to keep myself busy and when I can't find outside things to do, my main "do" is to think. I think about anything and everything.
Swimming was the beginning to a lot of my self realizations: confidence, talent, hard work, perseverance, drive, passion, success, leadership, outspokeness... art motivates and stimulates my mind. It allows me express my heart when I just can't explain it. When I dance, my body expresses the happiness I feel. I write... I write a lot. (Hehe my portfolio was voted one of the best during my first semester away at school!) I listen to all kinds of music... I eat almost anything. I will try a lot first and if I like it I will do it again. I make clothing so I can wear something unique, it yells to people that I am unique and I love it.
