Tour of My Living Space
. I live on the 10th floor of a tall building that is located right in the middle of the city. I moved in January 2007 and made the place my own after awhile. It's a one bedroom, one bathroom, cute little place where I live by myself. Downstairs, I have a gym, pool, hot tub, and suana! Parking sucks for my guests, as always downtown, but luckily I have my own spot and there's high security. Anyway, here's a tour, enjoy! (The original tour was listed in my blog written here.)Living Room
I painted two opposing walls in the living room Palm Leaf Green! My muse for the design was my favorite flower, the purple Phalaenopsis Orchid. So, to continue the theme, the walls are green and I put in purple accents all over the place. I used black and white photos so that the colors were muted. My OLD closet was transformed into my entertainment center.
View
One of the greatest perks about living here is the gorgeous view I have looking downtown. I have my orchid chilling on the windowsill.
Dining Room
I decided that even though my dining room is just an extension of my living room past the kitchen, I didn't want to use the same color scheme. I found furniture that matched the furniture in the living room so that it was cohesive and added light orange and peach accents to set it off. I also made a three panel wall art that incorporated white orchids!

Bedroom
For my room, I wanted to make it real girly but not overwhelming. I chose Victorian Mauve to paint two opposing walls and Medium Brown furniture. I accented the wall behind my bed with brown and creme fabric since it was such a big empty space. I do have a problem though. I can't fit my clothing anywhere (I have a LOT), so my closet situation is less than ideal.
