Finished my first week at work! Woot! Passed the drug test! Double Woot! Weird, people are treating me like an engineer and asking me for work. I am enjoying this. I'm starting to game plan a promotion
Still waiting for the fabulous ex-roomie to repay her debt to me and the rest of the house. Not a fan. I wonder what goes on in people's heads when they think that they can justify being difficult when they owe people money.

Friday,
D and I did that whole traveling thing and visited my sister. We ended up spontaneously going out to Sevin in Pontiac-- having a great time! I saw a guy kick a girl in her head while he was "breakdancing" and instead of apologizing, flicked her off because she said, "ow". Douche. I had fun with Lexi and Lena!
D and I danced all night of course and the girls took care of us with the driving. Thanks for the great time.

On Saturday, I went to a beautiful wedding with
D, Corey, and Ashley. It was for one of my good college buddies, Rick. The ceremony and reception was held in Sagnasty. Beautiful Wedding. I wish the best to Rick, Erica, and Sydney Marie! They fed us like whoa! I love intimate weddings like that.
D and I swung danced to a few songs, sometimes to evade the situation of a classless girl sitting with us. There were 3 other couples sitting with us. Immediately approaching the table, the girl had a pitcher of beer and glassed over eyes. The first thing she bitchily said to her husband was "I'm cold, give me your coat!" If cussing and popping out of her "dress" was any indication of what was going to happen, I knew she was going to be part of my entertainment. However, she was unwelcomed. THERE IS A TIME AND PLACE FOR EVERYTHING! Aside from our lovely guests at the table, I had a wonderful time. The four of us went back to our hotel room after hitting up a local Sagnasty liquor store. After all the free wedding drinks and a sip of our cocktails, we passed out!
Can't believe my friends are getting married! Sarah's wedding is next weekend... maybe there will be some drunken low class guest that can entertain me. Her wedding is in GR and it's with a LOT of my buddies. I am so excited for this.

Sunday, we visited
D's family in Lansing. His dad had ballroom dance lessons in session so we joined in! I learned the basic tango and rhumba. Hehe, we were planning on dance lessons anyway but joining in on his dad's class was fun! The couple he was teaching was preparing for their wedding next weekend, awwww, I love that. Finally after some good home cooking and chatting, we headed back to the westside. I had a fantastic weekend.
I finally have the time to hang out with my friends. It feels like forever that I have some time to myself. Ryan and I went out to chat over coffee last week and this week, Clayton and I are going to go out for dinner. The only thing is that I prefer to only go out during the weekends. My time during the week is FULL! I can't believe how busy I still am.
I've been looking at apartments downtown and have my eye on a couple. I can't keep looking until October since my September calendar is FULL! It would be so easy to move to Holland, but no thanks. The city is dead in the winter-- if it could even be considered a city. A couple of the guys have moved to Standale or out to Alpine and other surrounding areas, but I want to be close to where the people are... downtown. Maybe people will keep visiting if I am right downtown because there is more to offer?
